I started my freelance career over 15 years ago, back when "freelancer" was still a pretty exotic term and mostly used for journalists and IT folks.

 

I kicked things off with small video editing jobs for businesses and individuals. But honestly, those “small” projects took up all my time and didn’t pay much.

 

So, I began looking for ways to land bigger clients and bigger projects.

 

Nowadays, my clients include international advertising agencies, creative studios, video production companies, and big brands like Google, Adidas, HSBC, Ford, and Vodafone.

 

Looking back, I think my journey could have been much quicker if I had someone experienced to guide me and help me avoid the common freelancer mistakes.
